Some people use IDEs, etc.
Ever since I used it to "fix" a PDF so it ripped on the Fiery, it's been my main text tool.
From handcoding HTML/CSS to editing config files, processing text files, quick fixes on the server via FTP, etc.
The internet is text files.
BBEdit does text right as can be.
