I was the SLU LAW Web Developer for 2.5 years.
The only "school" with their own developer, I took over a mish-mash of Ingeniux, Drupal 6, etc.
I rebuilt and unified the site from ground up in Drupal 7.
The communications department catalogued, organized and moved all the pages over.
It was a smashing success until the consultants came, got rid of me and folded the department back into the main site.
